My final concept was a bowl that the user places egg shaped weights into which represent time. The more they place into the bowl, the less time they have left in their day and lights help represent feedback at where the weight level is at. This concept helps the user visualise the tasks they have to complete and whether or not they'll have the time to complete it.
To turn the device on, the idea was to have the sun rise and hit the device which activates the ambient light sensor to turn on a green LED. (Feedback)
Then, once the user starts placing the eggs in the bowl,(Status) at halfway the green LED will flicker (first button press). (Feedback)
If the user continues to place weights, (Status) once the pre-determined threshold has been reached (second button pressed) a red flashing light will turn on indicating that there will be too many tasks for the user to complete and the bowl will spin (imitated by the servo attachment). (Attention)
